specify that in your search criteria.
You can choose people with a specific
ethnic background or even people who
are of the same religious beliefs.
What could be easier than ticking off
all the requirements you want in a
relationship and then with a click of
the mouse a whole list of prospects
becomes available?
You can understand why online dating
has become such a widespread and popular
phenomenon.
You can search for people in certain
geographical areas and by age group.
There are so many different options
that make your life easier and the
chance of you getting the best possible
companion based on your search criteria.
It is also good to remember that those
people online are searching for the same
things as you and they are already in
sync with your way of thinking just by
having their profile on these dating
sites.
It's not like you will feel embarrassed
for them to know that you have been on
the site is it?
After all thatís where you found them.
And anyway ñ peopleís opinions have
changed considerably in recent years
with regard to online dating sites where
most people consider them to be an
excellent place to look for relationships.
Statistics show that more people use
these sites than not so if you aren't
logging on to a dating site when you're
looking for a companion then you will be
in the minority.

What the heck is a C-Panel, and how to redirect domains
Okay, today the promised sequel
about C-Panel. At least the
starter version.
In your email from Hostgator,
you'll also get a link to your
C-Panel. When you click on it,
it will take you (after login)
to a place that's filled with
cute looking icons.
They also have labels, fortunately.
C-Panel is your command central of
your websites. It can do almost
anything you want.
That's where you set up your
email, where you can set up a blog,
and where you can set up all the
websites you want, and also set up
countless subdomains that you then
redirect to the affiliate links you
want to promote.
Say you have an affiliate link for
a dog training course. Ezine articles
won't allow you to use an affiliate
link in your resource box or anywhere
else for that matter.
So what do you do? You go to
Godaddy.com and buy a suitable
domain name. Let's say you buy
superduperdogtraining.com
As you go through the ordering
process you get to the place where
it asks you if you want to host it
elsewhere. You say yes, and then
you write in the DNS information
for Hostgator, and then you check
out.
Now, you go to your Hostgator
account, into your c-panel,
and you click on the top left
link, the one that says
"addon domains"
You'll see a place that says,
"new domain name" and you type in
your new domain:
In the next field, where it asks
for username etc., you can
just click and it will put
in
superduperdogtraining
without the ".com"
In the third field, it asks
you to choose a password.
Let's pick dog123, just as
an example. Be sure you
remember the password.
Click "Add Domain," and it will
process this and take you to
another screen.
Wait till it's finished, and
then you can click "go back"
which is at the bottom.
Once you're back in the addon
domain maintenance area, you
can add another name or 10.
The beauty of hostgator is that
you can add on as many domain names
as you like.
Why would you want to do that?
Many reasons. Well go there later.
Next, the redirect thing:
Scroll down a bit below where
you put in the new domain names.
You'll see a place where it
tells you:
"setup redirection" and Redirect
domain to URL.
Go to the left field and scroll
until you find the domain name you
want, in our example it is
superduperdogtraining.com
Next, in the right field,
where it says "setup Redirection"
you insert your affiliate link.
That affiliate link is that funny
looking link you got from clickbank
or paydotcom.com or whatever.
Hit enter, and again you'll be taken
to another screen that confirms that
it's now being redirected.
You can then click "back" or
whatever it is and go back to your
addon domains to redirect some more
if you like.
And that's it.
Test it out now. Open a new browser
window and type in
http://www.superduperdogtraining.com
(or rather what YOU have picked)
and your affiliate site will come up.
Cool, isn't it?

Internet Marketing getting you stressed? Mika?

means, it's safe to take fairly
high amounts of them. Your body
will help itself to what it needs.
Also, eat eggs. Yes, for real.
Eggs contain plenty of lecithin,
which also helps your body cope
with stress. And definitely make
sure you get all the protein you
need.

Another stress tip or two or three for you
Last time I talked about stress, and
so let's stay with that topic for another
round.
I mentioned "breathe" as one remedy, and
I know that you may have rolled your eyes
at that.
Yeah, sure, you may think.
I mean it though. Breathing oxygenates
the body, and it helps relax that whole
chest area etc.
The interesting thing is that one of the
best remedies for stress is intense
exercise.
That seems a bit ironic, doesn't it.
But it works. Go for a run, or go to
the gym, or a hard swim, and when you're
done, you may well have forgotten all
about the stress.
And guess what you were doing while you
were exercising? You guessed it!
BREATHE
Coincidence? I think not.
Also, the exercise helps process all those
fight and flight hormones that are flooding
your system when you get stressed. So that
helps as well.
Other things:
Thinking games! And now don't laugh, please.
Gratitude lists (I'm quite serious.
Stress doesn't have a chance if you spend
some real quality time listing all the things
you're grateful for).
You can also focus in the following question:
What do I want?
And project/think about what it is that you'd
like to happen in the situation.
That too helps get your mind off whatever is
stressing you and helps things go so much
more smoothly.
If you think a beer helps, you're right.
But it's not necessarily because of the
alcohol, though in certain doses that can
help as well. But no. It's the hops, a
plant that has calming function.
In fact, you'll find hops in sleeping pills.
Just take a look at your local health food
store!
Then, there's that hot bath, with a nice
cup of green tea (with L-Theanine, another
calming substance, right built-in).
Or some lavender aromatherapy.

Okay, now about the other benefits of finding
suitable partners online: You can talk
about your intentions even before you
meet one another.
This is a good thing because if you
both have completely different hopes
and aspirations for your lives then
it is easier to move on and find
someone else who is more suitable.
There are so many people who get
into relationships where one person
has different expectations than the
other and they only find out about
it 6 months or a year or two down
the line.
And imagine what might have happened
during that time.
The person you were meant to be with
might have found someone else while
you were floundering around with the
wrong person.
And they probably found them on an
online dating site too because that's
where a lot of the connections are
made these days.
Can you afford to waste months or
years of your life with the wrong
person? I would like to think that
you treasure your time enough to not
let that happen.
Online dating sites are a lot like
the pre-selling that goes on in any
form of marketing.
You get to talk to one another in a
relaxed manner online before you
even decide whether you want to meet.
You should feel free to express
exactly what you want from your life
as this will help you to attract the
right person you are looking for.
The simple fact that there are so
many people on these sites to choose
from should make it easier to not
have to put on ëairsí and say things
that arenít true simply to please
the other person.
It's not like a pickup in a night
club where you might say you like
particular things just to increase
your chances of getting a date.
Online most people tend to me more
honest about themselves as that's
the way to attract the right type
of person.

a follow-up thing from last time:
When you get a domain name at
Godaddy.com BEFORE you have your own
hosting account, there's one thing
you'll want to do:
Remember when I said that at some
point, it asks you if you're hosting
your domain name elsewhere and you can
click on that etc.
Well, right next to it, it offers
to PARK your domain name for free.
YOu'll just click on that, and it
will safe-keep your domain name
until you're ready to do something
else with it.
Next, you can also redirect your
domain names directly from Godaddy.
However, I prefer to do that from
Hostgator.
You may have noticed that Godaddy
also offers hosting services.
Why not have them host you?
Wouldn't that be easier?
Maybe. But there are drawbacks.
The one that matters most to me
is that Godaddy doesn't have that
amazing feature called
C-Panel, which puts you totally
in charge of everything.
You probably have no idea what
I'm talking about now, but
no worries. C-panel is majorly
cool and you'll see why shortly.
The other thing: Hostgator is
really reasonably priced and
has outstanding customer service.
I tested them before I signed up.
I called up customer service just
to see whether they actually answer
the phone and how quickly, and then,
how friendly they were and if they
could speak English.
They passed with flying colors.
The guy I spoke with was even
gracious when I told him I was
not even a customer yet and was
just testing them ;-)
So where can you get them?

Go with the Baby Plan. Again,
you'll see why very soon.
Once you sign up, they will send
you a welcome email.
In that email, they will tell you
what your name servers are.
Be sure to take note of those.
They look something like this:

buy your domain names, and when
you then click on "I'm hosting
my domain names elsewhere," you
will be taken to a screen where
they have spaces for you to fill

Or other places. Basically, there are
people out there who will write your
articles for you, for a price, of course.
So let's move on to some website basics.
What does it take to get your own
first website?
Not as much as you think it takes...
You need two main things:
A domain name, and a hosting service.
Here's what I'm using (and I'm very
happy with them):
You can get your domain names
at www.GoDaddy.com
They're easy, and very reasonably
priced, and I will walk you through
the exact process.
Here's how:
1. Go to Godaddy.com
2. Go to one of the fields that says
"search for domain name here"
3. Type in the domain name you
want and hit return.
4. If it's available, you're in luck.
If not, look below and check out some
of the suggestions. You might like
one of them. If not, repeat
step 3 with another domain name,
and another, until you find one
that is available.
CAUTION: Sometimes, it looks like
a domain name is available, but it's
a premium domain name. You can tell,
because it says so and there's a big
price attached. NOrmal Domain names
cost about 9.99 plus a 20 cent fee
each. And that's good for a year!
5. You can search for more
domain names and have them added
to your list at the bottom of
the page.
6. When you're ready, scroll down
till you see "proceed to checkout"
and click on that.
7. On the next page, they'll try
to sell you more domain names.
Just click on
"No thanks. Continue to Checkout."
8. On the next page, if you don't
yet have a GoDaddy Account, click
the third option:
I want to create a GoDaddy account.
And then follow instructions.
If you already have a Godaddy account,
just log in.
9. Next, you'll see
Registration and Checkout Options
Look at the various options. Go for
the basic ones. You don't need much.
First, check the length you want.
I tend to buy them one year at a time,
but if it's your name or something,
you may want to get two so you don't
have to worry about it.
I've also heard that search engines
like domains that are registered for
longer durations. Don't ask me how
they know. I don't want to know.
Also, click uncertified, and DO NOT
add hosting!
10. Right underneath that box, there are
three options.
The first one will be of great interest
to you:
It says: If you're hosting these domains
elsewhere...
Remember that. Because once you'll
have your hosting service, this is where
you can easily and quickly set things
up so that they will automatically work
together with your hosting service.
Just click on that and you'll find a
field where you can fill in the information
you will have gotten from your hosting
service.
For now, let's scroll down.
About type of registration, you can
either select "Standard" which will work
fine, or you can pay more and get privacy
protection and some other stuff -- for a
price. You don't really need it.
Right underneath that box, it asks you
for your Checkout Preference.
Please be sure to check
"No thanks. I'm ready to checkout."
Then click on "continue"
If you pick "customize your order"
you'll end up totally confused and
spend tons of needless money.
I did that when I first started and
it took me a long time to get out of
all the things I signed up for
unwittingly and never even used or
knew I had.
So just go with "No Thanks."
11. Next, you'll be taken to
your shopping cart.
Check and make sure you want everything
in it.
Select your payment method.
And make sure to check the box
that you agree with their rules
and regulations (and make sure you
read them first).
Then hit "Checkout Now"
and either you're done or it
asks you to confirm. It varies
and I haven't figured out when works
which way, but if it asks to confirm
you just do, and you're done.
Congratulations. You've just bought
your domain name.
Or at least now you'll know how to
do it when you're ready.

the place where it asks if you're
hosting your domains elsewhere,
you can just click on that and
fill in the information you'll get
from your web host (name server info).
You'll know what that is when you
read the welcome email from
Hostgator.

Got Stress, Mika? What to do and why?
are you ever stressed? Do you wish
your life were less stressful?
Recently, I wrote that I was debating
whether to write about the law of
attraction with regard to relationships
or work, and I've decided to go with
work.
I find that the work angle will work
nicely with the money one we just
went through.
But before we go there, I'm going to
take a little time out and talk
about stress.
Stress as in multi-tasking too much.
Stress and in WAYYYYY too much on
your plate.
What to do? Or should we even do
anything about it?
What we do tend to do is worry.
Worry that we have too much stress.
Now that seems a bit silly since
worrying about stress does really
only one thing:
It adds more stress to the stress
we already have, doesn't it?
So what to do instead?
First of all, it's a good idea
to take a minute to think about
what all this stress is doing to
us.
Excess stress feels bad! It robs
us of our enthusiasm and drive, and
our energy.
It can make us sick. I could
give you a laundry list of diseases
it can cause or help develop,
from high blood pressure, diabetes,
acne, heart disease, even the common
cold and influenza, and, yes,
cancer.
So stress is bad news. Too bad
I just said that stressing about
stress is bad too ;-)
The news gets worse.
Remember the law of attraction?
What do you think you're going
to attract if you're too stressed?
Let me tell you:
More of the stuff that's already
causing you excess stress.
Pretty bad.
How to cut through it?
