here's now the promised secret of the
resource box.
When I first heard about them, I thought
they were something really complicated.
And definitely something in box format.
Probably involving complicated HTML coding.
None of that is true. Well, almost.
It's not complicated, but it helps to
get it right.
It doesn't involve complicated coding,
but if you can do a VERY basic HTML
thing, which I will show you how to do,
you're going to get a whole lot more
out of your resource box.
And no, it's not really in a box either,
at least not usually.
The term "resource box" simply refers to
the paragraph (or two) at the end of
the article where the authors gets to
either talk about themselves and plug
their own website and products or
or services, OR they can try to sell
something else, usually a product that
complements what the article was about.
That's it!
Check out a bunch of them at

You can look at mine:

Not that mine are always the most perfect
ones, but I HAVE tweaked them quite a bit
as I've been studying with Jeff Herring
quite a bit over the last (almost) year,
so I've gotten pretty good at them.
Jeff Herring, of course is the guy at
http://www.articleguru.net as I believe
I mentioned before.
And do go check him out. He has some
cool freebies you might find very helpful:
So before we get into the nitty-gritty
of the resource boxes, I want you to do
your homework and check out a bunch of
them.
Look for how the article flows practically
into the resource box. The resource box
almost reads like the conclusion and then
guides the reader to click on the link
for more information.
Now we need to address something else:
What do you put in there. Where do
you want your reader to go?
If you don't have a website yet, you
can send them to an affiliate product.
I'll give you a quickie primer on where
to get those in the next installment,
and then I'll spend several lessons on
helping you get set up with your own
website!
Yes, you read that right. You need
a website. And they're NOT rocket
science! You can do this.
And of course what you'll do THEN
in your resource box is what everybody
else is doing (almost everybody else
anyway), and that is "building your list."
So stay tuned.
Till next time.
All best, and have fun checking out
all those resource boxes. Soon,
you'll be making your own!
Elisabeth

Oh, and if you can't wait, here's
my HIGHEST recommendation for Erik,
one of the nicest and coolest guys
on the internet with the most amazing
course on how to build your own
website etc:
http://www.beafasterwebmaster.com
In a sentence: Most of what I know
about creating websites I've learned
from Erik. Like he used to say on his
old salespage: even his grandmother
learned how to build her own website
with Erik's course!
It truly is the most excellent thing
out there, and great value for $$.
So if you can't wait, and you want
a thorough step-by-step with videos
and all:
